A dining table is a long-term decision.
It sits at the centre of the room you spend the most time in, and you'll look at it every day for years. Worth getting right. Every table on this page is made one at a time in our Christchurch workshop, sized and finished for your space and the way you actually live. Our job is to make the choosing feel easy.

Shapes
Most of our tables are rectangular, because that's what fits most rooms. But we also make oval tables for spaces where a softer footprint helps the room breathe, and round tables for smaller rooms or when you want everyone facing each other. If none of the shapes on this page is quite right, tell us what you're picturing. We've made plenty of one-offs.

Frames
The frame is what gives each design its character. Crossroads is our most popular, with a clean X under the table. Asterix is the bolder cousin, with a sculptural starburst base that suits round and oval tops. Angled and reverse-angled give you a contemporary geometric look. Straight and box legs are quieter, sitting flush with the ends of the top. Y-frame splits the difference. Most are powder-coated NZ steel, with timber-frame versions for the styles that work in solid wood.

Black powder coat is the default, but powder coating means we can match almost any colour you bring us.

Timber
Solid NZ native timber, named species, named region. We work most often with Northland Tōtara, West Coast Beech, and West Coast Rimu, sourced through direct relationships with the suppliers who manage the forests. Each species has its own colour, grain, and personality. If you're not sure which suits your space, order a sample pack and live with them on your benchtop for a few days before deciding.

Sizing and finish
Tables are made to your dimensions, not picked off a shelf. Length, width, edge profile, oil finish, frame colour. We'll talk through it before anything is cut. Send us your room dimensions and we'll come back with a recommendation for what works.

Made in Christchurch, shipped to you
The whole thing happens under one roof. Steel and timber meet in our workshop about six weeks after you confirm. We don't hold stock, because every table is built for the person who ordered it. One NZ native tree gets planted for every piece that leaves the workshop, which is how we get to call it carbon negative.
