Is timber suitable outside?
Yes, when the species, finish and exposure make sense. It will still weather and need normal care over time, so we talk through maintenance before recommending it.
What is easiest to maintain?
For most high-use outdoor settings, Alfresco porcelain surfaces with steel bases are the lower-maintenance option. If you go timber, our timber care guide covers the oiling routine - the same principles apply outdoors, just on a more regular rhythm.
Can you make a custom size?
Yes. Most Innate pieces are made to order, including outdoor tables and leaners.
Do you work with cafés and venues?
Yes. We build for homes, hospitality fit-outs and commercial outdoor areas.
How long will an outdoor timber table last in NZ conditions?
With normal care, decades. Outdoor timber isn't maintenance-free - it weathers, and it wants a re-oil more often than an indoor table - but that's surface work, not structural. The solid NZ timber and powder-coated steel underneath are built for outdoor life, and because the finish is repairable, a tired-looking top can be brought back rather than replaced.
