Cafés, restaurants, bars, lodges and shared spaces

Furniture for places people return to

We build hospitality tables and commercial furniture for cafés, restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, lodges, hotels and shared commercial spaces.

Most projects start with a practical question: what size, height, material and finish will work in the room? Send us your plans, photos, sketches or early brief and we can help shape the right pieces around the way the space will be used.

  • For venue owners, architects, designers and fit-out teams
  • Single hero pieces through to repeatable table runs
  • Sized around seating, service flow, material choice and care expectations

Materials and finishes

Materials chosen around the job

A café table, an outdoor courtyard table and a large shared dining table do different work. We help choose the material, base and finish around the way the piece will be used.

Timber

New Zealand timber for warm, repairable commercial tables. Best for indoor hospitality, covered spaces and pieces where natural character matters.

Steel

Powder-coated steel bases for strength, stability and clean commercial detailing. Standard black works for many projects, with other finishes available on request.

Porcelain and steel for alfresco settings

Italian porcelain with steel for outdoor café tables, courtyards and hospitality settings where a low-maintenance surface is useful. Normal outdoor care still applies.

Finish and colour

Timber colour, oil finish, steel colour and surface choice can be matched to the project where practical. Samples are useful in the venue’s own light.

Daily service

Built for daily service

Hospitality furniture works harder than residential furniture. Tables are moved, cleaned, leaned on, spilled on and used all day.

Practical by design

We design around stable bases, solid materials, clean detailing and finishes chosen for the setting. Natural materials are not maintenance-free, so we set clear care expectations before anything is built.

Built around the project

Useful commercial work starts with the room, the seating plan and the service flow. We can work from plans, photos or an early brief, then refine sizes, bases, materials and delivery details before production.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do you make custom café and restaurant tables?

Yes. Most hospitality tables are made to order, so dimensions, height, top shape, timber, steel colour and finish can be adjusted around the project.

What are common café table sizes?

Common starting points are 600 round, 700 round, 800 round, 600 x 600 mm, 700 x 700 mm and 800 x 800 mm. The right size depends on chair width, service style and layout.

What height should a bar leaner be?

A standard bar leaner is usually around 1050 mm high and pairs with 750 mm stools. A lower 900 mm counter-height table can work with 650 mm stools.

Can you make multiple matching tables?

Yes. We can build repeatable tables for a venue while still adjusting dimensions, bases or finishes to suit different parts of the space.

Are your tables suitable for outdoor hospitality spaces?

For outdoor settings we usually recommend porcelain and steel, or carefully chosen timber options depending on exposure and maintenance expectations. Outdoor timber is natural and needs normal care.

Do you deliver outside Christchurch?

Yes, nationwide delivery is available. We can discuss delivery or install requirements when quoting.
