Shipping and delivery

We deliver Innate Furniture throughout New Zealand. Delivery costs are shown at checkout where possible, or confirmed in your quote for larger, custom, or commercial work.

Small items and samples

Small items and timber samples are usually sent by courier. Most courier deliveries arrive within 1-2 business days after dispatch, depending on your location and the carrier.

Furniture and larger freight

Large furniture is sent by freight carrier or delivered by arrangement. Larger freight deliveries commonly take 5-10 business days after dispatch, depending on your location, carrier schedules, and access.

Our delivery partners may contact you before delivery. Please tell us early if there are stairs, narrow access, steep driveways, rural access issues, limited truck access, or if the item needs to be lifted over fences or through tight spaces. That helps us choose the right delivery method and avoid surprises on the day.

Assembly and placement

Some pieces can be delivered assembled, while others may need simple assembly on site. Optional assembly or placement help may be available by arrangement. If you need this, please contact us before dispatch so we can confirm what is practical and any extra cost.

Pickup

Christchurch pickup may be available from our workshop by arrangement. We will confirm timing once your order is ready.

Insurance and damage in transit

Items are covered while in transit. Please check your delivery as soon as practical. If anything has arrived damaged, email hello@innatefurniture.co.nz with photos of the item and packaging so we can sort it with the carrier.

Timing

Lead times are estimates unless we have agreed a specific delivery date in writing. Workshop timing, timber supply, finishing conditions, freight schedules, and remote delivery locations can all affect timing. If you need something by a particular date, please tell us as early as possible.

International delivery

International shipping may be possible for selected items by request. Please contact us before ordering so we can check feasibility and cost.
