An outdoor porcelain and steel dining table, made to order for patios, terraces, courtyards, poolside areas and covered hospitality spaces. The Italian porcelain top gives a refined stone-like look with strong outdoor performance, while the powder-coated steel frame keeps the table clean, sturdy and practical for everyday use.

Choose the table length, porcelain colour and matching-bench setup to suit your space. For commercial projects, we can also make related outdoor furniture such as benches, stools, coffee tables or bar leaners as part of a wider Alfresco package.

Porcelain is a strong low-maintenance option for outdoor furniture, but the frame and detailing should still be cleaned and cared for as part of normal outdoor furniture maintenance.

Materials and provenance

Each dining table is built from solid timber selected for colour, grain, and suitability for the size ordered. West Coast Rimu, Northland Tōtara, and West Coast Beech are our core dining timbers.

Rimu is warm and characterful, with golden tones and flowing grain. Northland Tōtara is paler, with gentle colour variation and a fine native timber character. West Coast Beech has a clean, warm look with naturally varied tones.

Each core species is available in Clear, Country Bark, and Blackwash finish options. Timber samples are the best way to compare colour, grain, and finish before choosing.

Tables are finished with natural hardwax oil. One NZ native tree is planted for every table that leaves the workshop.

How we build yours

Timber. Each table starts with timber selection. We work through our stock to find boards that suit the size you have ordered, minimise waste, and choose timber character that fits your brief.

Making. Boards are machined, jointed, glued, sanded, finished, and assembled by Innate Furniture in Christchurch. Steel bases are fabricated and powdercoated by local specialists; timber bases are made and finished to suit the selected table top.

Finishing. The top is sanded progressively finer, then finished with natural hardwax oil. Before your table leaves the workshop, we complete final checks and prepare it for pickup or delivery.
