Crossroads Dining Table
Crossroads Dining Table
The Crossroads Dining Table is the ultimate expression of industrial chic meets sustainable heritage. Designed and built in Christchurch, it serves as a bold, contemporary centrepiece that is as ethical as it is robust. The striking, angled NZ steel base provides a modern, stable foundation for a thick, solid wood top that showcases the rich, unique grain and history of our native timbers.
The Innate Difference: Designed for Generational Living
- Premium Materials with Provenance: Your table top is crafted from sustainably sourced, solid New Zealand timber. We specialise in the unparalleled warmth and character of Recycled Rimu salvaged from historic Christchurch buildings, or other NZ native timbers like West Coast Beech and Northland Tōtara. The bold, centred steel frame uses locally sourced NZ steel, fabricated and powder-coated to your colour specification for a modern industrial look.
- Superior Natural Finish: Unlike standard polyurethane finishes, every Innate table is protected with a plant-based commercial-grade hardwax oil. This toxin-free surface is safe for your family, exceptionally durable, and designed to "wear in" gracefully while remaining easy to repair.
- True Custom Craftsmanship: Each Crossroads table is a one-off, handmade in our Christchurch workshop and fully customisable. We craft to your exact specifications, from compact 4-seater widths to grand 12+ seater lengths, to perfectly fit your dining space and your life.
- Built to Preserve History: As co-founder Nick Lee notes, 'We don't just build tables; we preserve history. Every piece of Recycled Rimu we use has a story from a past Christchurch life, which we respect and reveal through our craft.'
