Every Innate dining table is made to order in our Christchurch workshop. Choose the size, shape, timber, colour and finish that suits your home, from compact round tables to large solid timber dining tables for family gatherings and open-plan spaces.
We work with premium New Zealand timbers including West Coast Beech, West Coast Rimu and Northland Tōtara, alongside locally made NZ steel bases where the design calls for it. Order timber samples, visit the showroom by appointment, or get in touch if you need a custom dining table made to fit your space.

Once you’ve seen the main table styles, the next decisions are usually shape, timber and size. Round dining tables suit conversation and compact dining spaces. Oval dining tables soften movement around the room while still giving useful seating. Rectangular tables remain the most flexible option for larger families and open-plan spaces.

Most tables are rectangular, but we can make yours almost any shape. Here are a few common starting points.
Straight sides and softened corners. The most flexible starting point for everyday family seating.
A true circle. Best when conversation and equal seating matter more than long-table capacity.
An asymmetric organic outline with no hard corners. Good for softer rooms and informal spaces.
A tapered oval with a lighter, more refined edge than a standard oval.
Straight sides with rounded ends. Keeps useful length while softening the corners.

A starting point only. Chair width, room layout and walking space around the table all affect the final size. All sizes and shapes are fully customisable.
