What are your deposit and balance terms?

Most customers pay in full when they order. If you would rather split it, we can usually work with a 50% deposit at order and the balance due when the table is complete, before pickup or delivery is booked. Get in touch if you would like us to set that up.

How long does a custom dining table take?

The current dining-table lead time is shown at the top of the page. Standard custom builds are usually around six weeks from order confirmation to dispatch.

If you need a table sooner, please ask. We sometimes have suitable tabletops or popular frame styles already in progress, which can shorten the timeline.

Can you build a custom size or shape?

Yes. The online options cover the common sizes, but we regularly build custom lengths, widths, edge profiles, rounded corners, and project-specific shapes. Send us the room size or a simple sketch and we can talk through what will work.

How should I choose the timber?

Rimu, Northland Tōtara, and West Coast Beech are our core dining timbers. We can also source a wider range of responsibly sourced NZ-grown timbers on request.

Each core species is available in Clear, Country Bark, and Blackwash colour options. Timber varies naturally from board to board, so samples are the safest way to choose. You can order timber samples, visit the Christchurch showroom, or send us photos of your room and we can help narrow the options.

How do I care for the table?

The natural hardwax oil finish is made for normal daily dining use. Wipe spills promptly, clean with a mild timber-safe cleaner, and use common sense with very hot pans, sharp objects, or heavy abrasion.

Over time the finish can be refreshed rather than replaced. We can supply the right care products and talk you through the simple process when the table needs it.

What is covered by the warranty?

We back the structural build against manufacturing defects for the original owner. Joinery, frame welds, and the integrity of the build are covered. Everyday wear, accidental damage, and finish refreshes are not warranty issues, but we will still help you sort them where we can.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes. Christchurch deliveries are handled locally, and tables for the rest of New Zealand are usually sent through a specialist home-delivery freight service.

Use the freight estimator on the page for a guide. If the address, table size, or access needs a manual check, we will confirm the freight before order confirmation.

Can I see a table before ordering?

Yes. Our showroom is beside the workshop on QEII Drive in Christchurch. If you are outside Christchurch, timber samples are the next best step, and we can also help by email or phone before you order.
