Our workshop uses some of New Zealand’s finest timbers – you might choose Southland ash for a light, fine-grained look, or opt for a rich walnut stain on oak for a deeper tone. Regardless of wood type, we finish every table with a hand-rubbed oil or wax that enhances the grain and ensures a durable, food-safe surface.

Custom Fit – Available in any dimensions you require, the Straight Classic can be tailored to your space. We commonly craft this design in 6-seater (around 1.6–1.8m) up to 12-seater (around 2.8–3.0m) sizes. Need it a bit narrower for a breakfast nook, or extra wide for grand banquets? Just let us know. We can also adjust leg thickness or style (for instance, turning the legs for a colonial look or chamfering the corners for subtle detail) – it’s truly bespoke to your taste.
